About the Ferrari SF90 Stradale
Born in 2019 in Maranello, Italy, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale is a mid-engined plug-in hybrid hypercar designed by Flavio Manzoni. It celebrates Scuderia Ferrari’s 90th anniversary with a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 assisted by three electric motors, producing a combined 986 horsepower. Mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, it accelerates from 0–60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The futuristic design incorporates Formula One-derived aerodynamics, including a active rear wing with a “shut off Gurney” system, making it one of the most advanced road cars ever to wear the Prancing Horse badge.
Collector Notes
This casting is historically significant as the first Ferrari model released following Mattel’s renewed license agreement with the Maranello marque. The 2025 debut came in two mainline colourways: Rosso Corsa red (Toy # HYW34) and this metalflake Grigio Silverstone grey (Toy # HYY08). The grey variant is particularly prized for its understated, factory-authentic finish that showcases the SF90’s sharp body lines. As a New Model with a black plastic base, smoke-tinted windows, and crisp tampo detailing, it represents a new standard for Ferrari castings in the modern Hot Wheels era. Whether you are building a Ferrari collection, chasing the complete 2025 mainline, or investing in license-return castings, the SF90 Stradale is a flagship shelf piece.
