Hot Wheels & Matchbox in Welkom | Buy Diecast Cars Online
Welkom collectors, this one is for you. Whether you are peg-hunting at the Goldfields Mall and mining-town charity shops or buying online from the couch, here is the complete local guide to diecast shopping in Welkom, Free State.
Where to Hunt Diecast in Welkom
Start with the obvious: the Goldfields Mall and mining-town charity shops. Big retail chains are your mainline bread and butter — Toy Kingdom, Toys R Us, Checkers, Pick n Pay and Game all carry Hot Wheels in most Free State branches, and restock days vary by store. Ask the toy-aisle staff when cases land; a friendly question in Welkom has found many collectors their first Treasure Hunt.
For older and second-hand stock, work the charity shops, pawn shops and weekend markets around Welkom. Vintage Matchbox, Corgi and Dinky still surface in Free State at give-away prices — our flea market hunting guide and inherited collection guide show you what to look for.
