About the Mercedes-Benz CLA HW
The Mercedes-Benz CLA is a series of luxury subcompact executive cars manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. The third generation, internally designated the C178 and styled by Mayya Markova, was introduced in 2025 as the first Mercedes to offer an all-electric version alongside its combustion equivalent without a name change. This Hot Wheels casting depicts a 2026 CLA transformed with a wide-body kit and numerous modifications — a rolling art piece that channels classic 1:64-scale fantasy racers finished in searing colours with cartoonish graphics straight out of an ’80s poster.
Collector Notes
This casting is historically significant as the die-cast companion to the full-scale Mercedes-Benz CLA art car unveiled by Hot Wheels and Mercedes at Los Angeles’ Race Service workshop. The “Play Beyond Limits” collaboration fuses Stuttgart sophistication with wild Hot Wheels exaggeration — colossal diffusers, heroic spoilers, and a paint job loud enough to wake your inner eight-year-old. The 2026 metalflake denim blue release (Toy # JJH63) features a striking mixed-wheel setup with orange-and-white AeroDiscs up front and black E10SPs at the rear, a baby-blue interior visible through pink-tinted glass, and neon pink graphics that pop against the deep blue body. As a New Model and a licensed collaboration piece, the CLA HW is one of the most significant European castings in the 2026 mainline. Whether you are building a Mercedes collection, chasing the full HW Euro set, or investing in art-car collaborations, this CLA HW is a flagship shelf piece.
