Hot Wheels Team Wheels 2026: Collector’s Guide
Quick answer: Team Wheels is a 2026 Hot Wheels mainline segment of five team-spirited vehicles – Mailed It!, Punk Rod, the 1970 Pontiac Firebird (with a Target Red Edition), the new Salt Streaker land-speed casting, and the Fast Fish Treasure Hunt.
Team Wheels is one of 2026’s smaller segments – five slots mixing a mail truck, a punk-rock rod, a classic Trans Am-era Firebird, a brand-new Bonneville racer and a fish on wheels. It is the kind of eclectic grouping only Hot Wheels mainlines attempt. Full year context: 2026 mainline guide.

Highlights
Salt Streaker (new casting) continues the streamliner tradition that runs from the real Bonneville cars to Hot Wheels classics. Mailed It! – an armoured mail truck – is the kind of working-vehicle fantasy casting that quietly becomes a favourite. The 1970 Pontiac Firebird is the real-car anchor, with a Target Red Edition variant that is import-only in South Africa. Fast Fish hides the flame logo: as the segment Treasure Hunt it gets the special finish over the standard release.
SA collecting notes
