Hot Wheels BMW 2002

Description

Hot Wheels BMW 2002 – 1:64 Scale Diecast Model

The BMW 2002 is the little sedan that saved its maker. Built from 1968 to 1976 as the sportiest member of the 02 Series, it blended everyday usability with genuine driving joy, pulled BMW back from the brink financially, and established the blueprint that became the legendary BMW 3 Series. This Hot Wheels release is mainline number 77 of 250 and 5 of 10 in the HW ’70s vs ’90s series, wearing a metallic blue finish with the M-motorsport stripe colours down its flanks.

Performance fans revere the 2002 Turbo of 1973, Europe’s first turbocharged production car, while the standard 2002 earned its fame on road and racetrack alike. Decades on, clean examples are treasured classics – and this casting distils the shape that started it all into pocket-sized form.

Hot Wheels is the iconic diecast brand created by Mattel in 1968, and its mainline series remains the most collected diecast line in the world – browse the official Hot Wheels website, read the brand’s story on Wikipedia, and track every casting on the Hot Wheels Wiki.
